Where do you go after Transformers? You direct an advert for Victoria’s Secret, that’s where. Is this ad targeted toward women or is it merely a reflection of Bay’s personal fantasies?

Maybe it’s me, but do some scenes within this advert have a Michael Ninn ambiance? Yes, there is an explosion! Is there such a thing as a Bay film without an explosion?

Sonia Rykiel H & M Launch To Rival Victoria’s Secret

Sonia Rykiel is one of the few original iconic female French fashion designers. The recent launch of the H & M has gathered praise from the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier to Emmanuelle Beart.

As a visual event, 2000 guests attended the multi-million dollar event held at The Grand Palais. Guests enjoyed the experience of walking through a forest, arrived at a recreation of St Germain to arrive at another recreation: The Eiffel Tower.

Pirelli Calendar 2010

The annual Pirelli calendar isn’t necessarily about fashion but it features some of the most prolific fashion models and is photographed by some of the most renowned international photographers and has a 46 year tradition. The 2010 calendar is photographed by Terry Richardson and was recently launched in London on Friday.

Unfortunately, the calendar isn’t freely available to all. It is available as a corporate gift to Pirelli VIPs and clients.

The decision for the first post is always difficult so I thought I’d make it easy and begin with the very things that are a part of everyday life: clothes and perfume.

Fashion is known for its controversy. Karl Lagerfeld was recently quoted saying something to the effect of fashion not being meant to change the world. If you want to check out Karl’s insights, you can always add him to your Twitter and be updated on his personal pet hates…such as the phrase avant garde.

The first few controversial fashion picks have to go to stellar photographer Steven Meisel. He is known for his controversial Dolce & Gabbana advert which was banned in Italy. He has most recently photographed Madonna for her Louis Vuitton campaign. But the purpose of this site is to feature the dirty/sexy/pretty/fun stuff.
