Phallic symbols have been with us since day dot and have appeared throughout the world. One of the most famous or infamous phallic symbols is that which is related to the Greek god Priapus and his exaggerated penis.
In the modern era, skyscrapers can be considered as phallic symbols or the ultimate phallic symbols that beat their humble clay predecessors. The latest skyscraper is the Burj Dubai, the highest skyscraper in the world. It’s quite ironic for this building to follow the Copenhagen climate summit considering that the cooling condensation is enough to fill twenty Olympic swimming pools. According to reports, this water will be recycled. The building stands at 818 meters high.
